I was born in 1985 in Pontiac, Michigan. What brings me to paint is my need to express, share and reflect on my artwork's dynamic perspective in and around my hometown Clarkston. I study and loosely translate landscapes, water, and the light of natural subjects outdoors Au Plein Air (outdoors; in open air). Often lately they are created with an impressionist style. My Idea is to show people my perspective on life. It is very relaxing to draw and paint. I use my mind's eye to see abstract goodness and try different colors and juxtapositions until I achieve a distinct work of art. I believe that my healing process is heightened by doodling these non-specific visuals as part of my project creations. I am inspired by my experience in nature, my recovery from teenage trauma, and my faith. I really enjoy painting what I see, and building my self-confidence through personalized points of focus.
